1. About these terms
This website, lanejohnsonmusic.com, is operated by Lane Johnson Music (“we,” “us,” “our”), based in Lindon, Utah. By using the site or making a purchase, you agree to these Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.

2. Our products
We sell digital sheet music, delivered as downloadable PDF files. Some titles are composed or arranged by Lane Johnson. Others are editions published by other music publishers, such as Walton Music, SBMP and Jackman Music, and those remain the copyright of their publishers. We try to describe every product accurately, including voicing, instrumentation, difficulty and page previews. Please review this information before you buy.

3. Your license to use the music
When you buy sheet music, you receive a license to use it. You do not own the copyright. Your license allows you to:

  • download and print the number of copies stated in the license tier you selected
  • use those copies for rehearsal and performance by your choir, ensemble or students

Unless we give you written permission, you may not:

  • make or print more copies than your license tier allows
  • share, email, upload or post the PDF files, including on shared drives, websites or social media
  • resell, sublicense or redistribute the music in any form
  • edit, arrange or adapt the music for publication or sale
  • record the music for commercial release or distribution

Licenses for other publishers’ editions may also be subject to that publisher’s terms. If you need more copies, choose a larger license tier or contact us. We’re glad to help. Performance rights for public concerts are usually handled through your venue’s performing rights licenses (such as ASCAP, BMI or CCLI). Contact us with any questions.

4. Orders and pricing
All prices are in US dollars. We may change prices, products or availability at any time, but changes won’t affect orders you have already placed. We may cancel or refuse an order if we suspect fraud, a pricing error or misuse, and we’ll refund you in full if we do.

5. Payment
Payments are processed securely through Shopify and its payment partners. We never see or store your full card details. By placing an order, you confirm that you are authorized to use the payment method you provide.

6. Delivery
Purchases are delivered by email as described in our Shipping Policy. You are responsible for entering a correct email address at checkout.

7. Refunds
Because our products are digital, all sales are final except as described in our Refund Policy.

8. Intellectual property
All music, recordings, images, text and other content on this site belong to Lane Johnson Music or the respective publishers and creators. They are protected by copyright law. You may not copy or reuse site content except as these terms allow.

9. Accounts
If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login secure and for all activity under your account.

10. Disclaimer
The site and products are provided “as is.” We work to keep everything accurate and working, but we don’t guarantee the site will always be available or error-free.

11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim related to a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for that purchase. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, United States. Any disputes will be handled in the courts of Utah County, Utah.

13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date shows the latest version. Your continued use of the site means you accept the updated terms.
